EU-richtlijn inzake toereikende minimumlonen: wat is het en waar staan we?

In oktober 2022 werd de EU-richtlijn inzake toereikende minimumlonen aangenomen. In deze bijdrage bespreken we de context waarin deze richtlijn tot stand is gekomen en leggen we de belangrijkste delen van de richtlijn uit. Daarnaast gaan we in op het verzoek tot nietigverklaring dat door Denemarken werd ingesteld bij het Hof van Justitie EU. Tenslotte analyseren we de richtlijn kritisch en bespreken we diens invloed op de Nederlandse rechtsorde.2Het onderzoek voor dit artikel is eind oktober 2023 afgerond.
