Editorial Board Coordinator - part time

The Role

The Compliance Magazine (Tijdschift voor Compliance) is looking for an Editorial Board Coordinator to support the Editorial Board on its day-to-day assignments.

Job Description: Editorial Board Coordinator

You will be responsible for:

• Coordination and drafting of Editorial Board meetings, agenda and meeting minutes (jointly with secretary of the Editorial Board).
• Being main contact point to authors and Editorial Board members.
• Editing draft articles in Dutch and English.
• Managing interface with publisher platform.
• Supporting marketing and exposure efforts.
• Organising social and professional events.

Who are you:

• Availability: 1 day a week and flexibility in scheduling.
• Languages: native or close to native Dutch and English.
• Academic: at least master’s degree in social sciences, with advantage to law, criminology, or business management. Preferably: PhD candidate or research masters.
• Writing and digital editorial work experience and skills.
• Affinity with Compliance, Integrity and Legal.
• Good social, coordination and administrative skills, precise and diligent.

The organisation

The Tijdschrift voor Compliance (Compliance Magazine) published by Den Hollander is a specialized magazine focusing on all aspects of compliance. The magazine publishes six volumes per year, available online per subscription or separate article purchase. The articles published by the magazine tend to be short (3.500 – 5.000 words) and aim to share knowledge and practical insights, addressing the relevant aspects from multidisciplinary angles.
